T. Rex T. Rex T. Rex.
I loveĀ Marc Bolan. He was so tiny and had so much fashion-sense and was probably some fancy alien species. Of the sequined variety. My favorite thing to listen to while baking is T. Rex. Perfect for dancing and cooking and washing dishes. I suggest you try it. I wonder if Marc ever baked. Hmmm…If I had a time machine the first place I would travel to would be to see Marc Bolan’s closet. Imagine all those crazy blazers hanging in one place. ♥♥♥
If you can listen to that without dancing around in your chair, you probably have your computer on mute. That, is some of the greatest music of our time AND those are some of the best pink pants of our time. I believe that if I only owned some pink pants like that, I could totally learn to play electric guitar. I just need this guitar.
That is the guitar I would play T. Rex covers on. And dance. And I suggest that you do the same! Have a great day! Dance on!

Great songs and videos, I love T. Rex and Marc Bolan. Ringo Starr did a documentary of him called “Born to Boogie,” which is a must-see film!

OMG, I was A CRAZY OBSESSED LUNATIC for Marc when I was 16 & 17. I had this videotape with tons and tons of performances and videos (a rare treasure in pre-internet days), every album (not all originals, but some) on vinyl, and every weird comp cassette I could get my hungry little hands on. I thought I was the coolest thing on earth for memorizing the whole 30 minute Children of Rarn suite, haha! And I was deluded enough to believe that any cute (pitt, raalude, hesher, whatever you called ‘em) was a T. Rex fan, and one day, I’d find my own personal Marc Bolan. And then, a new guy was enrolled (mid-semester too, which was highly unusual) at my arts high school. He was tiny with shoulder length, bouncy, brown corkscrew hair and he played guitar! I was too shy to ever really meet him, but I sure put him on my crazy Marc Bolan pedestal all year!
Those pants are fantastic. Everything about Marc is fantastic! And while it is a tragedy how he died, I can’t imagine how embarrassing he’d be if he were still around today, so it might be for the best that he went out while his star was still glittering brightly.
Now go get yourself some pink spandex pants and that HK guitar!!!
